Yorkshire Dales August

We visited Hilary and David in Threshfield when there was a steam train going over the Ribblehead Viaduct.

A rainbow taken from the window at Threshfield.

                                Ribblehead from the Station.

A diesel train going over the viaduct.

The Sherwood Forester going over. The line goes from Leeds to Morecombe                                                 or Carlisle.

The viaduct looks as if it is straight - but it has a bend in the middle!

While waiting for the return of the train, we went to Dent village.

I am sitting by the Adam Sedgwick memorial stone. Dent has the highest railway station in the UK.
