A selection from our holiday in Norfolk, 11th to 18th May, staying in a cottage at Briston. We had taken the bikes so were able to cycle nearly every day - and always from the cottage. Some days were quite cold with a light shower but cycling on the country roads and lanes was virtually car free.
The '2 up 2 down' cottage we were staying in, very typical of all buildings in this area. The shed behind the car was a lockable bike shed!
Tattershall Castle

View from the top of the castle. As you can see, North Norfolk is quite flat.
